2. Attach the fuel pressure gauge to the test port.1. Turn your engine off and locate your test port. The test port is located on the fuel rail, near the intake manifold.
After a few seconds, the fuel pressure gauge will display a reading. Record the reading.
4. Crank your engine. Examine the fuel pressure gauge and monitor the pressure rating. The fuel pressure should remain the same as it was with the ignition in the "On" position.
