10. Use a torque wrench to tighten the manifold mounting bolts to 23 foot-pounds. Tighten the power steering pump's mounting bolts to 25 foot-pounds.


11. Reconnect the negative battery cable after all other parts are reassembled. Turn the ignition key to the on position, allowing the engine to run for five seconds. Turn the engine off and allow it to set for ten seconds. Repeat this pattern of five seconds on and ten seconds off for two more cycles, which will prime the fuel system. Turn on the engine and check the manifold assembly for fluid leaks.
