Install Feet Rails On The Truck

Installing a recent locate of foot rails on your truck adds work and style to any vehicle. Foot rails can add late lines and schism up the Mass of your truck. They are expensive but you can save on this expense by installing them yourself. It is not as difficult as it may seem, but it does need to be done correctly, otherwise the foot rails can break and cause serious injury to someone.

3. Line up the rails on your truck to determine a good position for the rails.


4. Mark on the body or chassis of the truck where you need to drill holes to attach the rails. Be sure to take into account the length, curve and distance of the attachment bars from the rail itself.


Instructions

1. Remove the foot rails and all accessories from the bag.2. This will be noted on your foot rail information. This is important because it gives the right balance and support on your rails.


6. Drill the holes using a bit sized to your attachment screws into the truck frame.


7. Attach the rail braces to the frame using the specified screws. Attach your rails and check them for balance. Then tighten your brace screws.
