Fuel injectors are a leading Element of the fuel step.
Fuel injectors are an integral apportionment of a vehicle's fuel manner. Fuel is tense from the fuel vat by the suction edge of the fuel pump. The fuel then passes nailed down the fuel filter and is sent to the fuel injection pump or directly to the injectors. As the engine enters the intake cycle, fuel is sprayed into the cylinders by the fuel injectors with a alloy of O2. Failed fuel injectors Testament casue the engine to lope sporadically.

Injector Testing Techniques
1. Emptied the hood with the engine running. Replace the injector if the spring is broken.3. Plug into the vehicles on-board-dash system with a Pro-Link or other scanning device. The connector is located under the dash on the drivers side of the vehicle. A port that is too cool or not warm at all is indicative of a failed injector.
2. Remove the valve cover from the cover from the engine and pull the fuel injectors. Inspect the nozzle of the injector where the diesel fuel ejects from. Clean the nozzle if required. Inspect the spring on the injector for damage or if it is broken entirely. Hold the pyrometer six to eight inches away from the first exhaust port. Record the temperature reading. Proceed to take temperature readings on the remaining exhaust ports.
With the engine running read the diagnostic codes. Some codes may indicate that an injector is non-responsive. This is indicative of a failed injector solenoid.
