Small Hole


1. Clout both of the sides of the gap well-organized.


2. Sew the two sides of the gap in sync using an upholstery bodkin and thread that matches the thread in the seat.


3.5. Trace the shape of the hole on the fabric paper with a pencil.6. Use scissors to chop the shape that you traced in Step 2 out of the fabric paper.

4. Berth material paper over the gap.



7. Find an area of extra fabric on the underside of the seat. Most auto seats have fabric flaps that were left during manufacture.


8. Pin the fabric paper piece you cut in Step 3 to the extra fabric on the underside of the seat.


9. Cut out the shape of the hole in the seat from the extra fabric, using the fabric paper piece as a guide.


10. Remove the pins and discard the fabric paper.


11. Lay the fabric cut from the underside of the seat in Step 6 over the hole in the seat and sew around the edges.


12. Tie off the string in a knot and cut away any rough edges and loose thread with scissors.
