Clean Compound Residue Off A Vehicle

Muddy Vehivle

2. Put 4 tsp. of Mothers California Gold Car Wash (see resources) in a bucket, and fill it completely with water from your outdoor hose. You don't just want to use any car wash, because you need something powerful enough to get through the compound dirt.

Instructions

1. Roll up your car windows so that the water and soap don't get inside of the car.

It is not dense for a machine to pick up a compound residue. This can happen if you live on a dirt road, or you drive through mud several times in a row. The problem is that this dirt can actually begin to do damage to your car's paint job, if you just ignore it. It is important that you take the time to clean the compound residue off of your car. Mothers California Gold can handle tough compound dirt.

3. Spray the car from top to bottom with the hose while you have it on. The water will begin to soften the dirt, which will make it easier to clean. Don't forget to rinse off the tires, as well.

4. Soak a sponge in the bucket. Begin working on the roof of the car first. This is because the dirt is going to flow down the sides, so if you cleaned the sides first, they would just get dirty again. So wash the roof from one end to the other, and then use your hose to rinse the dirt off.

5. Continue by washing the front of the car. Start with the windshield, and work your way down to the front bumper. Make sure you keep re-soaking your sponge in the bucket. When you are done, rinse off the front.

6. Work your way around the sides, being careful to do one side at a time, from top to bottom. Rinse each side off as you complete it.

7. Scrub the tires last. Use plenty of soap and the sponge. Rinse the tires off with your hose, and then give the car one final rinse from top to bottom. This will make sure that all of the soap is rinsed away.

8. Dry the car off from top to bottom with some clean white or beige-colored towels. This will prevent any water spots, and leave your car with a nice shine.
