Place the block of wood onto the back of the dent and hammer it gently. Do not tap the hammer directly onto the dent as you could cause small dents that will show on the opposite side. Dry Ice
Dry ice can be found in some grocery stores or you can buy it online too. It is typically inexpensive at $2 per pound. Wearing gloves to protect your hands, gently touch the dry ice onto the dent for a few seconds. While they work similar to a plunger, always check and follow the manufacturer's directions to avoid damaging your car further.
Move to another part of the dent for a few seconds at a time until the dent is gone. The temperature difference in the ice and the dent will cause pressure to accumulate and pop the dent out.
