1991 Nissan Sentra Specifications

The SE-R added a sporty atmosphere to the Nissan Sentra.


The 1991 Nissan Sentra was redesigned with rounded corners. The SE-R trim was added to the previous Sentra trim packages. The original retail price of the 1991 Nissan Sentra was $10,110. The 1991 Sentra has seven trim packages: E, XE and GXE sedan; E, SE and XE coupe; and SE-R.


Engine and Performance


The SE-R trim has a 2.0-liter engine, the remaining trims have a 1.6-liter engine. All 1991 Sentras come with a manual five-speed transmission. Depending on the trim there's an option for a three-speed or four-speed automatic transmission. Power steering is optional on the E trim package. The SE and XE trims have power steering, power exterior mirrors and a rear spoiler. Air conditioning and radio with cassette player are optional upgrades on the SE, E and XE.

The Sentra gets 21 to 29 mpg in the city and 32 to 39 mpg on the highway.

E, SE and XE Interior and Exterior Specifications

The E, SE and XE trims come with bucket seats, power brakes and tilt steering.



The GXE and SE-R have power brakes, tilt steering and bucket seats.The GXE comes with air conditioning, power windows and door locks, and radio with cassette player. A sunroof is optional on the GXE package. The SE-R features fog lights, sport suspension, alloy wheels and rear spoiler. Air conditioning, radio with cassette player and a sunroof are optional on the SE-R.
