Mazda Miata Horn Installation

A working vehivle horn can sometimes be the contrariety between an accident and arriving unscathed.

A working vehivle horn ensures the safety of your Mazda Miata. The automobile horn is intended to alert other drivers of danger, in situations where they may not be aware of your presence. When the inventory horn gives elsewhere in your vehicle, you must exchange it with a working horn. The horn is a small, circular piece that is located under the hood of your car. Shop around for a good deal on a used part to save money on this installation.

Instructions

1. Open and prop up the hood of your Miata so that you can operate underneath it. Be sure to give yourself ample space and lighting.

2. Locate the vehicle's stock horn near the front, underneath the car battery.

8. Close the hood of your car and put away all tools.

4. Unscrew all of the bolts or nuts from the horn using wrenches that fit. Make sure to put the bolts or nuts in a location where they won't get lost so you can use them for the replacement horn.

5. Pull the horn from the Miata and dispose of it.

6. Place the new horn into the mounting station where you pulled the old horn. Bolt it into place by tightening the nuts to the mounting station.

7. Plug the wires into the replacement horn so that the vehicle provides power to it.

3. Pull the set of wires that are plugged into the horn. These wires provide power from the vehicle to the horn, allowing it to work.
