Switch The Fuel Filter On The 2000 Ford Explorer

The fuel filter on your vehicle helps control the machine in ace case.

4. Align the new fuel filter with the fuel line. Push the filter and the fuel line together by applying steady pressure until you hear a click indicating the fuel filter has been secured. Check the connection of the filter and the fuel line by pulling them in opposite directions.2. Crawl underneath your vehicle from the Chauffeur's side. Establish the fuel filter, which is ethical below the Chauffeur's seating sphere and is mounted to the vehicle frame.


If you previously had to remove a heat shield, reattach the shield around the filter besides. Tighten the gas filler cap on the fuel tank. Connect the negative cable to the battery. Start the engine, and allow the car to run for a few minutes to pressurize the fuel system.
