The counter speed or CV joints on your vehicle are components on the drive shaft. The CV joints make the axle more flexible so the wheels spin with less resistance. If you have heard a grinding or clicking sound when you make turns as you drive, the CV joints should be inspected for signs of corrosion and wear. If the joints appear damaged in any way, they need to be be separated from the drive shaft and then replaced.
