Repair A Broken Headliner Board

Instructions

3. Detach the side trim pieces from the headline of your automobile. Unhook the clips that ownership these pieces in habitat. 5. Apply the new fabric to the new headliner board. Spray the surface of the bottom of the headliner with spray adhesive. Lay the new fabric on the headliner over the spray adhesive. Fold the fabric in half. Place the middle of the fabric on the middle of the headliner board. Unfold the fabric.4. Lower the headliner board and coverings from the ceiling of your car. It should fall out of place once the trim has been removed. Remove the headliner and its coverings from the automobile. Let the glue dry for at least Day and night.


6. Trim off any excess fabric with a pair of scissors. There should be some fabric on the back of the board around the perimeter but not so much that it will interfere with the re-installation on the ceiling of the car.


7. Install the new headliner by putting it in the car and pushing it upward to the ceiling. Starting with the trim, reinstall all of the car's pieces by reversing the steps that you took for their removal.
