1975 Malibu Specs

The Chevelle's transformation into what became the Malibu was full by 1975 as all the cars of this design were called Malibu.

Size and Price

All Malibu cars were on a 116-inch wheelbase. The cars were 210 inches extensive, 76 inches Broad and 53.8 inches rangy. The cars weighed on all sides of 4,000 lbs. depending on the mould.



V-8 engines available included a 350-cubic-inch history with 155 horsepower, 400-cubic-inch with 175 horsepower and a 454-cubic-inch with 215 horsepower.


Power Train


A three- or four-speed notebook transmission, too as a three-speed automatic, was available for the Malibu. Turbo-jet fuel injectors were an alternative, or a four-barrel carburettor could be added for further performance. A two-barrel carburettor was morals. The V-8 engines had overhead cams. Suspension was by independent ball joints and coil springs on all wheels. Hydraulic, self-adjusting brakes were criterion.


This was a mid-sized machine to bridge the aperture between larger cars compatible the Impala and smaller ones approximative the Nova.

Types

The Malibu came as a coupe, sedan or station wagon, and any of the Chevy engines were available. A six-cylinder, 250-cubic-inch engine had 105 horsepower.


The cars used a 22-gallon gas tank.


Pricing ranged between $3,595 for the coupe to $4,893 for the largest station wagon.
