Instructions

1. Wet a Disinfected rag with the adhesive remover until its damp. Apply the adhesive remover to strip out the gray-haired adhesive on the machine door.


Van door moulding is the faraway rubber strips on the side of your automobile that protects your vehicle from the brief dents and dings generally acquired in parking lots. On situation, the moulding on your van door may ripen into loose or indifferent. Gluing this moulding back onto your door can be done by most automobile owners. All that's required is the existing moulding or au courant moulding, and a meagre easily obtained items from an Car parts store.


Rub the adhesive with the damp rag until it becomes soft and pliable. Scrape gone the softened adhesive using the putty point, enchanting worry not to scratch the door gloss.


2. Wet a moment rag with the denatured alcohol and get-up-and-go over the environment where the adhesive was placed to remove any residue of the adhesive remaining from the scraping.

6. Measure the molding area on the car door and then cut new molding to fit the car door. Use an anvil pruner to make a straight cut through the molding. Cut the molding 1/8 inch shorter than the length of the door or car section To admit for unobstructed opening of the car door.


7. Place the molding onto the strip of tape to secure it to the side of the car. Press the molding to the tape beginning at one side of the molding and working along the molding to the other side until the molding is in place. Press firmly on the placed molding using a rag until it is securely mounted against the door side. Wait three hours or overnight and then pressure-rub the molding in place again. The adhesive securing the molding in place should set completely in three to five days in warm climates, longer in colder climates.
