10. Shut the engine off and remove the surge tank cap; wait until any hissing sounds from the tank stop before removing the cap. Repeat the previous step, adding coolant to one-half inch above the "fill cold" mark before replacing the cap and revving the engine.


11. Add coolant after shutting the engine off until it is definitely above the "fill cold" mark on the tank.
