Instructions
1. Remove any stickers, emblems and decals from the car so they do not get painted over. Take off all door handles and all tail lights and headlights also. Stick painter's tape around the outside edges of the car and over the seams around the doors and windows. Allow 45 minutes for the first coat to dry and then apply a second coat the exact same way. Start with the hood and work toward the back of the car in sections. Refill the tank if necessary and apply an entire coat on the car. Wait at least four hours before painting.
5. Fill the paint gun with Tremclad paint of the desired color. Pull on the lever and begin spraying in the same manner as the primer was sprayed. Start with the hood and work in sections toward the back of the car until completed. This will prevent paint from leaking into the car.4. Allow a full week for the car to completely dry and the paint to harden. Then buff the car. Use a powered buffer and work in slow circular motions to buff out the shine. Do not push too hard or the paint will burn and come off.
