Change A Turn Signal Bulb On The 2002 Ford F250

Ford's F-Series path of trucks consists of the 1/2-ton F-150 and the larger Super Office string. The F-250 was the smallest of the Super Business edge for the 2002 base year. While the F-250 had smaller brakes and lighter work suspension components that the F-350 finished F-550, they all shared distinct systems, including the interior and exterior lights. For safety and legality purposes, Ford recommends bi-weekly inspection of the exterior lights, including the turn signals. When you design a burned-out bulb, modify it before driving the F-250 again.


Instructions


Front Turn Signal Replacement


1. Remove the interpretation from the ignition and turn off all of the F-250's lights. Unfastened the Motor lorry's hood.


2. Remove the two hex-head retaining screws located below the front turn locution meeting, using a socket wrench and a 6-mm socket. Plug the latest 3157K bulb into the turn term socket. Include the socket into the turn vocable meeting and rotate it clockwise to lock it in deposit.5.


Pull it absent of the meeting. Pull the mature bulb gone of the socket and discard it.


4. Pull the turn word meeting gone of the F-250's front clip.3. Rotate the turn vocable socket counterclockwise to unlock it from the turn expression meeting.


Slide the turn vocable meeting back into the F-250's front clip. Reinstall the two turn signal assembly retaining screws with the socket and socket wrench. Fast the F-250's hood.


Rear Turn Signal Replacement


6. Lower the F-250's tailgate to expose the two side-mounted turn word retaining screws. Remove the screws with the socket wrench and 6-mm socket.


7. Pull the turn locution meeting off the back of the F-250 to expose the back side of the turn expression sockets. Rotate the turn signal socket counterclockwise to release it from the turn signal assembly.


8. Pull the socket out of the turn signal assembly. Pull the old bulb straight out of the socket and discard it. Plug the new 3157K bulb into the socket.


9. Slide the socket into the turn signal assembly and rotate the socket clockwise to lock it into the assembly. Reposition the assembly on the back of the F-250.


10. Reinstall the two turn signal retaining screws. Close the F-250's tailgate.
