Take Away The Starter On The 1989 Iroc Camaro

The starter Engine on a 1989 IROC Camaro is a brief electrical Engine mounted to the backside of the engine block on the passenger's side of the vehicle. The starter has a toothed gear thta meshes with the teeth on the flywheel, whether the motorcar has a volume transmission, or flexplate, whether it has an automatic transmission. The flywheel or the flexplate are connected to the crankshaft. When the Chauffeur turns the material, the starter rotates the engine, so when the Glimmer plugs hearth, the engine can dart.


Instructions


1. Disconnect the ground cable from the denying battery terminal by loosening the retaining bolt with a wrench.5. Unscrew the nuts that connect the electrical wires to the solenoid using a socket. Pull the wires off the solenoid.6.



3. Lift the front of the vehicle using an automotive jack and abutment it with jack stands placed underneath the front subframe.


4. Designation the electrical wires connected to the starter solenoid using masking tape and a marker.


Pull the clamp off the terminal.2. Block the rear wheels and tires using revolve chocks or wood blocks.


Unscrew the bolts that connect the starter to the engine block, using a socket. Be trustworthy to foothold the weight of the starter while removing the bolts.


7. Lower the starter motor outside from the engine and remove it from the vehicle.
